We don't clean the keel underwater. Everything else can be done afloat or ashore.
The right product for every surface
Cleaning is more than removing a stain: it means looking after what we have. We choose products from experience, based on the surface and the condition of the boat, to protect it and to respect the sea.
No bleach, no harsh degreasers
They make things look clean, but they eat into the surface along with the dirt and leave it brittle over time. Old gel coat can't be treated like new gel coat.
An example: mould on tender tubes
Bleach on PVC and neoprene corrodes the top layer and spreads the mould across the tender, and it comes back the next year. The right product traps the mould and rinses it away with plain water, without damaging the material.
Nanotechnology
If your boat is a work tool: a protective film that makes daily cleaning quicker. If you are after speed: sanding with products used in international racing and at the Olympics, with a manufacturer-stated efficiency gain of 45%.
